permissions on win 7

I am having trouble connecting to my server 2008 I can see the server under networks but when I try to access it says I have no permission see admin. I have everyone under sercuitys with full access.
How can I get this to access the server.

Also what I did was change the users name and computer name. Looks like it did not change the user network path I noticed the old name still under the users path. //administor/djd. The new user is Dave how would you change the did to Dave.

Server and laptop are in the same room. . There are 5 clients 5 PC's one server with 5 users on server
