Just got one of those calls .... again
Managed to keep him on the phone for 38min. I really laid it on thick and pretended to cry because my PC was so infected and I really needed it fixed. :devil2:
He was so helpful telling me not to worry and that he could fix it for me, but you could tell he was getting a bit peed off when he kept telling me to click Start, and I kept on telling him "but I don't have Start" 10 min later after we had determined that I had windows 7 so he told me to click on the "round thing" at the bottom

Then another 10 min later after we struggled to navigate to the "windows" "inf" folder and he asked if I had any .pnf files. Of course there were loads (as there should be) He then said that my machine was badly infected.
Next thing was we had to open the Internet so he could remote my system, strung him on for another 10min telling him "but I don't have a blue
e" We then figured out that I was using "google chrome"

By this time he was getting really frustrated and I was struggling to hold in my giggles.
So eventually I asked him what his profession was and he replied he was a senior technician, he then asked what job do I do, to which I replied in a fit of laughter "I'm an IT Manager" ........ click .... silence.
He didn't even give me chance to say thank you for starting my day off with such a laugh :roflmao:
