Hi all,

I have the Task Bar buttons setup for 'always combine, hide labels'.

Usually when I open a pinned icon, the app opens and the pinned icon 'grows' a border to indicate the app is open.

However some pinned icons (itunes, for example), do not exhibit this behavior, instead it opens another icon. So I have the the pinned icon, plus the actual icon for the open itunes app.

Is there a reason itunes (and a few others) behave this way. Is there a way to get them to work 'normally'?

Thanks.

I think that the way they open is a feature of the program or application. I do not think there is anything reasonable that could be done to change that behavior.
