Pirated Windows 7 – How to Tell.

Greetings from Death Valley, CA- many thanks for the thoughts expressed, my copy of Windows 7 Home Premium came from a chain of stores called "Costco" in the states at their Burlington, WA store I'm sure and as far as I know they never allow dubious software on their shelves or tables. They have to retrieve it from a locked storeroom. The anti activation windows 7 softwareis available at numerous torrent sites. Yes anyone using these dubious sites for software they depend on, "is a little too trusting of human" as about 70% of anyone's downloads at these sites could carry viruses, trojans, root kits etc. Very bad news and many of the uploaders simply do not care. But I feel that Microsoft needs to do its verification routine and get out and stay out of a customer's systems which they did back when Windows 7 was a month into general release. The anti verification software was installed about a week ago and yes I screen the W7 updates from MS before allowing them to be installed but most are allowed in. Microsoft does check (spy on) anyone's system with high speed mobile broadband as I use in the wilderness areas. That I wanted to see and proved beyond anyone's doubt. So for now Microsoft's notice "Windows 7, Build 7600, This copy of Windows is not Genuine" they placed on my tablet screen is as spurious as any torrent software. My Adobe and other professional software is all legal or on a trial download from the publisher of the software. Microsoft needs to do a little more work on its activation paranoia. I'll try to get around to posting small images of Eastern CA, Death Valley National Park and other areas after I return from Las Vegas (Red Rocks BLM area, Summerlin, NV) actually, due to a resupply run as usual for the 1st of the month.
