Ok... First we will need the crash files....(.dmp) .. they are located in c:/windows/minidump ... you will need to zip them up, then attach them (use the paperclip icon) to your next post... we'll go from there..

You will need to take ownership of them... follow this easy tutorial to do this... Adds Take Ownership Shortcut when Right Click on File, Folder or Drive... Once you have followed the tutorial, all you will have to do is right click on the file and select take ownership... then you will be able to zip them up... ;)

Ok... Ive looked at the .dmp files but they were inconclusive, so if you're up to it, were going to have to run some more tests in order to pin it down some more...

The dmp(s) point to ntkrpamp.exe or ntoskrnl.exe as the probable cause. We know this is not the case, as these are core OS files, and will definitely not cause a BSOD. They are just the default files the debuggers blame when they can't see a better cause.

We need to enable driver verifier in order to get more conclusive .dmp files... follow these instructions..

Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
- Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
- Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

We are also getting a Memory Management error, which may indicate bad RAM...

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 passes.

This should run overnight for the best results..

I also found SPTD.sys in your loaded driver list...This is notorious for causing crashes... Try removing any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

ahah thank you. this has been proper stressing my brain out, i am sure my own brain is gonna BSCOD on me soon. I shut down my computer and left it and turned it off at the wall for a few minutes cause it seems to crash within the first few hours of me turning the computer on. weirdly tho in the evenings i could be running a game, on the net, on msn and skype and no problems at all lol. it was crashing while on firefox which i uninstalled earlier cause it kept crashing (the programme not the computer) so on google chrome now

again thank you, i cannot say it enough. once we figure it out i can call he company who built it for me and get new ram sticks if needed i already rang and asked whether i would be charged and they said i wouldn't . good cause i didn't spend them my year's savings for a faulty computer lol

STOP 0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Usual causes: Insufficient disk space, Device driver, Video card, BIOS, Breakpoint in startup without having a debugger attached, Hardware incompatibility, Faulty system service, 3rd party remote control, Memory

STOP 0x00000019: BAD_POOL_HEADER

Usual causes: Device driver
As you can see, these BSOD's are hardware related. Since both these error codes mention device drivers, I took a look at the drivers on your system. I find some older drivers. In general, Win 7 does not like outdated drivers.

Eight of the drivers above belong to Norton/Symantec. Norton is a known cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. This coupled with obsolete Norton drivers spell trouble. Please uninstall Norton complete using the uninstall tool > Info > Tool (Note: Removes all Norton products).

Update your older drivers, particularly the one in red font.

- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads
