Please help for "not genuine win 7 after hard drive upgrade

After image my old hard drive to the new hard drive, I kept getting warning for not running genuine win 7. I have tried several way, nothing helps.
1. tried slmgr -rearm
2. tried back up SN, and restore
3. Go online as windows asks, but get error

Interestingly, my windows say I AM actually running genuine activated one. please those images. Thank you so much !

Well, i don't know. The PC is from gateway(acer), it come with windows7 home, later free upgrade to ultimate. It has been running very normal until i upgrade to new hard drive, bios data shouldn't be touched during upgrade. Any fix you could suggest. Thanks.

The original hard drive has pq partition, i also image it to the new drive, anything could happened here?

There could have been a small overlap in the BIOS manufacturer date and Windows y release.

Can you try this please, then create a new MGADIAG report and post it here again in your next reply.

4. In the command window that opens, type chkdsk /R and hit enter.

You will be prompted whether you wish to schedule a chkdsk scan at next startup, type 'Y' and hit enter. Now restart your computer and chkdsk will automatically run.

We either have to recreate the licence store or check for updated Intel Rapid Storage drivers.....but I can't remember which. It wont hurt to try the latter. Can you do that, reboot, then post new MGA report please?

If the COA sticker is for Windows Home Premium, then that's the only version licensed, unless you purchase an Upgrade license through a retailer, or MS itself - and those licenses ALWAYS show as 'Retail' in the report.

There is no overlap in BIOS/WIn7 release dates - certainly not 3 months.
This machine was shipped with Windows Vista installed, and a Vista SLIC table. It has had a hacker's Activation Exploit installed to circumvent activation/validation requirements, and is therefore by definition non-genuine.

There is a possibility that the machine came with a freebie upgrade to Windows 7 - but such upgrades are ALWAYS OEM System Builder Keys, and again, can only be upgraded using a Retail Key

As you said, I recalled, it initially came with vista and free upgraded win 7 home CD, 'cause I have no memory ever used vista on this PC, actually, I never used vista in my life. Later, I got a ultimate acer oem key, just run a upgrade that convert the home to ultimate, and I have been running it for nearly three without problem until upgrade to new hard drive recently.

I still kept my old drive, I think I could boot up from it externally, I will run diagnostic tool on the old drive, then post the results here, maybe it could let you to get insight how this odd thing happened.

It's not uncommon for shady dealers to install counterfeits - it means that they can charge higher prices for the product on sale than they could otherwise, and the chances of it being conclusively proved to be their fault are limited.
Where did you purchase this machine?
Was the box still sealed when you got it, or did the dealer pre-install the OS for you?

The OEM_SLP Key in use is NOT an upgrade Key, it's only v
You must use the one that came with your Windows 7 disk as the freebie upgrade (which would have come through the post).
The installed OS is counterfeit by definition.

If you can get the old disk working again. try using Magical Jellybean to recover the Windows Key from that - if it's the same one as current then that was also counterfeit.

I could not boot up from my old drive through usb sata, it suddenly stops on windows 7 starting animation, don't know why. I guess, in order to boot up from it, I have to do it as internal HD.

I found the original window 7 upgrade CD with the key, but it is Home version. Could I use this key to try, literally downgrade from ultimate to home, if I do so, what could happen, will some program could not be run properly because of home version. And if somehow it solved the problem, could I upgrade to ultimate version later. Thanks

You will have to do a clean install - for two reasons.
1) it's not possible to do a downgrade install
2) OEM installs are always clean installs, by design.

Thank you. To do fresh installation will be too hassle for me, I had so many programs and personal settings, that is why I did image when I upgrade my hard drive. As I understood, unlike MAC OS, there is no simple way to migrate whole data after OS installation in PC.

I had one question, could I use those so called "boot loader" to trick the system that I am running genuine one. So far, the warning is rather annoying than actually bother me doing anything, just microsoft essential could not be updated. Thanks again

By the way, since there is hidden 1st PQsevice partition, I guess the "boot loader" may not work, am I right.
