Hello again Guys.
I posted about this card before. I went and bought a new motherboard Biostar 780g chipset. I thought that my older board didn't have a 2.0 pcie slot. Because I couldn't get the pny card to boot into windows7. I have since figured that my old board just wasn't compatible with the card. My experience rating for the 9600gso was the same board to board. The new experience score is the same with the pny 240gt. shrug.
Anyways.... I wanted to use the the hdmi port with my 40 inch Samsung. I bought a 15 foot hdmi cable yesterday and plugged it in. Tv says No signal. I have used the dvi and vga ports on the tv. They work. I have 2 monitors rigged up through the card and they work. Dvi and vga no problem. But no dvi. I have used the new cable thru my cable box so not the problem. It has to be the hdmi slot on card.
I don't mind playing with the stuff but I am really getting tired of this card. It works real good for gaming anf surfing but I want to use the TV for it also. I have all updates thru windows. I have just installed the newest Nvidia drivers and the trial version of multimonitor. I can do that. I have built on sound card which I have read can cause problems in some weird way. I also have an external soundblaster box if I have to nuke the onboard sound.
I can't get help from pny as they seem to have ended their driver info at vista.
I throw myself on you Lords of the great Windows7 and await any help you can bring me.
I really don't want to buy a adapter to dohdmi if I don't have to.
Thanks in advace.

Hi,
I have removed and reinstalled nvidia drivers. Went back to 91. and then back to 260.
I can hear my drive making noises when I try and connect to tv. Before it reports no signal. I have tried all of the hd resolutions and settings.
The one thing i see is the force tv detection but cant get it since it is greyed out.....any ideas on that?
