There are so many "space" series that I enjoyed, but Star Trek was the role model for them all.

I liked the first two Star Wars movies, and also the Revenge of the Sith (have those on DVD) but I never took the series serious, not like Star Trek.

I think Star Trek was geared more for the intellectual science mind whereas Star Wars was more of a family get together with the kids king of thing.

I'd have to say star trek, mainly because there are so many different storylines in star trek within a whole series, all star wars is about is clones and droids shooting lazer guns and sith lords and Jedi having lightsaber battles, I just don't see the point in it.
