Hi everyone my computer is normally in sleep mode when i am not using it. When i went to take it out of sleep yesterday(11/2) it wouldnt come back up. So i did some routine checks such as checking for wires causing the fans to not spin.

OK so here is what i have done to narrow my problem down:

eliminated any dust in the case: result no change problem still exists.

Check for any wires hitting the fans: none were found to conflict with the fans(when i installed the new Mobo after the old failed i had this happen were the wires were in the path of the fan blades and it shut down instantly)

Made sure fans, HDD, and any other device was working in the 2 second time it was on: Nothing that i could tell HDD was spinning up, fans were turning(except the PSU fan).

Checked MOBO connections to make sure they werent loose or coming off: None were loose or not connected that werent not connected after MOBO install and setup.

Running out of issues that it could be.

Do you think its the PSU that failed or something else?

i am going to check the PSU to see if it is giving any power or if its failed.

If PSU fan does not spin from being broken, whole PSU is broken from too much heat. Replace unit.
