Thanks for the sympathy, flowers and on occation certain metals seem to ease the upgrade path timeline

You need to open CPUZ when you system is running hard or run a testing app like Prime95.
CPU - Stress Test with Prime95

Your snip is showing your CPU speed at idle, which will be the same OC'ed or not.

Open CPUZ, then open Prime95 long enough to get the snip then you can shut it down.
It's always a good idea to run Real Temp at the same time, don't let the CPU core temp go above 70C.

My first ever OC! The "max" temp was while running Prime95 for 3hrs. If I were a smart one I would have not closed Prime95 before I took the snip...

How does it look to the "Pro's"?
I am just going for 24/7 use, Not for top speed....Yet

Edit: I will re-run Prime95 again later when I have more time to let it run for awhile.
Edit2: I didn't close Prime95 I just stopped it and minimized it!! I added the snip!

You can't really compare voltages between an older AMD chip to a new Sandy Bridge i7. They are completely different beasts.

If you had the same chip however, then you could be pissed

LB is right, it isn't fair...

Only things I did were... bump the multiplier and manual adjust the vcore to 1.2..left everything else on auto as I'am still learning...If any of the pro's think I can do a few things to make it better please shoot me a message!!.. I also think I can go lower on the vcore, I just ran out of time to play with it last night.
Also tell me what info if any you would like to see and I'll see if I can get a snip of it.

I would run Prime95 overnight and also run LinX overnight as well to be 100% sure. LinX not only tests full load, but also different turbo modes as well as idle modes to make sure your system is more stable.

Ok here is the "New OC" with a long run on Prime95(12+hrs)!

Can this be called "Stable" now?? Or do I need to run some other test? If so what test should I go for?

the best test is time.

use it every day, doing different things, especially games or anything that will really push the processor(s).

if it crashes, crank the clock back a bit.
