HAHA.
They seem to be scoring about the same as all other 1866 RAM I thought.
Think Smarteyeball has the fastest scores Ive seen so far. Couldn't quite match them


As far as a performance boost ..

I went from a Core2 Quad with DDR2 1066 RAM to the i7 with these and yes it was huge.

But comparing to other DDR3, no clue
These are the only DDR3 modules I have. But I have been happy with them

Like Winsat, these benchies really do favour high mhz bandwidth.

It's hard to compare across platforms - when I switched from 775 to 1366, it felt snappier. From 1366 to 1155, it felt snappier again.

The newer architecture of each socket has a lot to answer for there rather than sheer mhz

I'm so tempted to put an Ivy Bridge kit together when it comes out but I'm so hoping AMD's Pile Driver meets expectations (I said the same about Bulldozer but decided not to buy based on early results) Pile driver on Windows 8 should be something tho (fingers crossed) If not, I'll join the dark-side and buy Intel

Aye - there is certainly a bit of headroom there, but 4.6ghz is a nice and decent OC

It took three motherboards but I finally got it work the way I wanted it to. Intel i7-960 run hot so I set my cpu volts at 1.30. If you leave on Auto they go over 1.4.
