Are you not use-ing Watercooling ?

That's the first thing i did when i got the chip i switched to a WaterBlock

Also reading about these chips voltages varies but can be chured up to 2.0 V-core
The Boards that saw the Best OC was Fomula IV Boards and Gigabyte 990ufd

My board have a highest v-core of 1.49 I can't go any higher even with the C1E C6 turbo core etc turned off

Im running MSI 990fx GD-80 which is doing the job

To compemsate for the Power draw i got the AX850 which helped my Crossfire set up as well and everything is Buttery smooth i do have this clip of a bench i took last night at these setting on Unigene 3.0 I havn't tryed at my normal resolution though or 1920/1080

also clocks were 920/1130 920/1130 i just leveled it out at 920/1125 diamond card 6870 Msi card 920/1120 The 1120 is stock when you go higher it freezes the bench that is why i left it but the diamond runs well off the higher clock speeds also use-ing the 12.3 CCC Not a single issue like others have been reporting

I still don't like the idea of liquid cooling yet. I've got a Phanteks PH-TC14PE with a UK-3000 and an AP-121 in push/pull. Under load the max core temp hit 47c and averaged 45c. Pretty good. I'm going to add a fan to the right side aimed at the back of the CPU. That will help.

I wound the FSB down to 200 and upped the multi to 22.5 to keep 4.5GHz. That allowed me to drop the voltage down a touch but it's still at 1.5v. I tried all the LLC options and having it disabled is the best option.

That will probally be your most stable overclock but if you bring the ram down you could up the multiplyer and get a stable 4.7 with out really Oc'ing the ram

I seen when i used the chip Multiplyer and didnt fiddle with the FSB or SB NB settings the memory increased on it's own due to a better memory controller on this cpu mine went from 7.5 to 7.8 off the Overclock I found that pretty Impressive

My chip needs too much voltage past 4.5GHz. After comparing all my results, this is these are the best settings. This chip is fun to OC. It's not like my old 1090T

Good grief that Voltage is pretty High did you happen to see what revision or serial number of the CPU some of them varies in voltage when tweeking

Most 8150s need 1.5 for over 4.5GHz. I've dropped the voltages since then...look again. Some get lucky and can run it at 1.4...just not me. It's not like it's causing problem heat wise. My cooling system keeps it at 45c under load so I'm not worried

Lol, I think it was a problem with the way I used the snipper tool in windows 8 Steve, here's another run.

Also best I got so far on winsat mem with the new ram is 29,500. Can't break the 30k barrier

Wekk it's another pices of bull chips. My 1055T will at least boot...most of the time. I got a FX-6100 and it is crap with it. I have to reset or power off multiple times to get a boot. Many time I can't get to UEFI since the keyboard satys off till "Window is Starting".

With the FX installed UEFI has some peculiar setting, example, NB Voltage has settings such as 18.4=13539MHz. WTH?

im having issues with the fx6100 too. i havent even started to oc it yet as i cant get the f***in thing to stop bouncing between clock speeds. ive disabled C1E, C6, cool n quiet and core performance boost. boot into windows and it still switchin between 1.4, 2.4, 3.3 and 3.6Ghz. the only way i can get it to stop is by disabling turbo core control in amd overdrive but this has to be done everytime i restart. its drivin me nuts man. i have trawled through soooo many forums/threads and cant seem to find any other info

i also found a few threads about 2 patches for win7 and fx cpu's and a windows hot fix but i have'nt tried either yet as there is so much mixed info.
could anyine shed any light on this for us plz.

well my bios is different but what I did was

Disable the Turbocore

keep the c6 on it made no difference for me my voltages never changed

I also have a FSB lock for some reason so i had no choice but to use the multiplyer

If you have 1600mhz ram change it to xmp 1600 mhz ussually These chips downclock the ram to 1333mhz but when you OC it has to be churned up to 1600mhz before moving to the multiplyer

I left my cool and quiet on auto

Only real changes were the v-core multiplyer and ram mhz other then that FSB is kinda useless these chips don't like the FSB messed with

Oh yea change the C6 to auto / I wish i had the same board it would be easy to show my Bios anyway I will look on info for Throtling on 6100 mine is a constant 24/7 all cores 4.4 Ghz
of course 8120-30p though
