Hello. Let me begin by thanking your self for taking the time to read my post. If your of knowledge in this area and able to shed more light on this matter. Assistance in clearing up my confusion would be sincerely appreciated.
So Here it is!!!
Running the Powershell cmdlet under I hope is my pc's local administrator account. I issued the cmdlet of Get-LocalUser.
The returned results which came back I have proceeded to screenshot and attach to this post for yourselves to view. My Confusion regarding these returned systems local user accounts is as follows. It is stated that the Local Users Administrator's is not actually enabled on my system. The user account named Paul is supposed to be the sole Administrative account on my PC.
Am I actually in the local Administrators group as I thought I was? Further issues causing myself concern relating to this matter, is that I am often receiving the Error message of "Access Denied". Seemingly from what I can gather, I don't have the Permissions and account Privileges assigned to my user-account needed to make these general changes on my system. Lastly I am unable to make any changes to the systems current permission files. Also being notified that I am denied in making the change.
I feel it is also relevant that I mention. Upon looking at the system events in event viewer. Various changes are being made through out my pc that don't add up to those with have taken place by my own usage at that time there recorded. I am also being advised that the system failed to successfully complete the restoration back to the early selected restore point. But I am not requesting any restoration on the system or initiating the restoration to begin.
I should be the only user on my system at these times the errors are being received. so where is the restore initiation coming from. I doesen't add up and is concerning.
It is considerably affecting myself gaining any real enjoyment on my pc, as I end up trying to find rational explanations to these matters when there occurring. I really struggled to save up the money to purchase it and would love to enjoy my time spent on it. There fore anyone who knows about these matters who is kind enough to offer myself the assistance/ explanations which I require. As mentioned previously, I would be sincerely grateful for the time and support which you give to myself. Thanks...….
