Hi I want to stop my son accessing one of my drives on my pc which is always on because I use it for recording my cctv system. I don't want him to access my drives whilst its on how do I stop this as administrator?

Assuming each one uses different user accounts, you can do that simply by setting permissions, granting yourself full control over the whole drive, and nothing more, effectively denying access to everyone else.
Of course, that requires that your son NOT to be an administrator too, otherwise he would be able to lift the protection himself.

Alternatively, you may use programs like TrueCrypt to encrypt sensitive data on the drive so that nobody can read it. Just unmount the drive before leaving the computer.
