Price Breakthrough on Acer Core i5 Slimline Desktop

Hi gregrocker,

Yes, it could be just as fast as a gaming rig if all you plan to do is surf the web and use some light graphic applications. :)

Gaming on the other hand. You will probably run into some problems.

Integrated graphics aren't all that great for gaming and a 220w PSU doesn't leave much room for upgrading. Also, the slim design probably will not be able to fit a video card. So your screwed if you ever want to upgrade you graphics. ;)

However, it does say that the PC is for Home and Student and for that it will perform properly. Just don't be comparing it to a $1,500 gaming rig. :)

Have a great day,
-Chuck

Yep though little cases aren't wroth getting if gaming is in mind,
Good for the price though very narrow selection for graphic cards I got a maximum in mine and it's still rated at 300 watt minimum with a 220 watt power supply :/
Something you don't want to push or one would be in bsod land ;)

Thanks gamers for the caveat. I am not a gamer nor are most of those I help. I should not have made that comparison.
