Prime rounding error but no memtest error

I don't play that many games and usually they're 2D so the graphicscard is sufficient. I think the only other game I had problems with was Civilisations but it just slowed it down a little.

currently not OC. RAM is running at 1333MHz
CPU used to be OC to 4.2 GHz, RAM running at 1600MHz
lost OC when I updated the BIOS to F11 (increased memory compatibility)
If it was Civilization V, I can see why it slowed down on your system. You have only a little bit more than the recommended specs. To run properly, the game requires much more than the recommended specified hardware.

If I'm understanding things correctly; you are trying to run today's games on yesterdays hardware.

What other programs are you having problems with?
Over clocking is not a problem. You get what your system will allow you to get and that is all. All systems are different.
