Hi

Looking for solution for printing out my playlist. Can't find anything for WMP12, only for earlyier vers. Anybody who either knows a program that can do the trick or a program that can input the info to an Excel doc. I dont want the coding included, only the song, singer, album, so on, and so on.

Regards

Frank

Here's my simple method for WMP12 (or any version I imagine) using Windows 7. If ALL you want is to print a playlist/burnlist, this works perfectly.

 1. Locate Start>All programs>Accessories>Snipping Tool. I like to pin the shortcut to my Taskbar.
 2. Open Media Player (maximise) and load-up a Playlist, in any view.
 3. Open Snipping Tool and “cut-out” the list. Select COPY. Close the snipping tool.
 4. Using your word processor, PASTE (Ctrl+V) and form a savable document.
 5. You can re-position the list on the page or resize it.
Note There's nothing elegant, flexible or editable about this method – just the basics. I'm no clever geek. But it works. Good luck!

You should be able to print your WMP playlist using Print Screen as well. See below for directions for printing the entire screen or just the active window only. And remember that some systems require also using the Fn key and some don't. (I've included the Fn key in the directions, but if you don't need it, don't click on it!)

PRINT SCREEN – ENTIRE SCREEN
Use PrtScrn + Fn to copy EVERYTHING showing on your screen, including opened property menus and dialogue boxes. If you then open a blank MS Word document, NotePad, WordPad, Paint, or just about any imaging program you can use the Paste function to see the captured images.

PRINT SCREEN – ACTIVE WINDOW ONLY
Use Alt + PrtScrn + Fn to copy only the ACTIVE window. So, you would get only whatever window is open, neatly cut out already, and ready to paste in to your favorite image app. (If this doesn't work, you may have to press Alt first, and THEN PrtScrn + Fn together.)

In reply to Imperfect 1, I was attempting to show the Playlist separately (ie JUST the Playlist section of the Window). Alt + Prnt Scrn would still capture the whole of the Media Player window.
