I have had this problem for the past couple of days and I haven't been able to get on to a certain website at home. I'm running Windows 7 with all the updates. My dad is running the same and it is happening on his PC with the same website.

I know the website isn't down as I can access the website through the same router with my phone.

The few things i have tried is a dns flush as i can ping the sites ip address but not the car insurance credit card application at whatever.com address.

and a reboot.

I have IE8 and Opera installed and the same thing happens on both browsers.

Cant open. Just tried from an xp machine with a dialup connection.:D

Wonder if it has anything to do with location. Am in Africa right now.

But can open the cached version of the page.

Sometimes that happens...

When I was in Germany.. I was not allowed to go to www.hulu.com

it knows where I am located by IP and DNS but usually it will tell you on the website; why?
