Solved Problem connecting RDC behind two routers.

I am attemtping to remote access a PC behind two routers, it is in an office building, the building manager gives a small router to connect to internet from within individual offices.

I can RDC the PC when it is not in the office, that part is set up correctly.
I have even tried to use no-ip updater, it gives me the IP address of the main modem.

The Main modem is a comcast modem at 98.208.xxx.xxx

Then it goes to a router Default gateway 10.1.xx.xx and assigns the router in the office 10.1.xx.xx which then assigns the PCs in the office 192.168.xx.xxx

I can not access the gateway, I can only access the router within the office which I have set the ports etc.

While connected to the network within the office I can connect Remote Desk Connection to the PC with no problems. On the same network it works fine.

I am trying to avoid using something like logmein or some other software I will have to load.
I have not tried VNC, I would prefer to use RDC.

Is there some syntax I can use to connect , example 98.208.xxx.xxx/10.1.xx.xx

If anyone has any suggestions I would apperciate it.

Edit- forgot to mention I can connect to PC in office using Remote Assistance.

The remote desktop port (3389) would have to be forwarded at both the gateway and the router behind it in order to get to your PC behind them.

Problem is, I cant get to the default gateway, I am trying to find a way around that. I am uncertain if the building manager will allow that. I am not their IT person.

Unfortunately, you'll need to verify that the gateway is in fact forwarding that port, otherwise this won't be possible. If you have access to the router behind that, you could at least make sure that one is properly forwarding that port to the PC you are trying to get to.

From within the office, on the second router, the router I can access, the ports are set correctly, I can remote in as long as I am connected to that same router. If the PC is connected to a router outside the office where there is only a modem and one router, it works just fine.
I guess I need to ask the building manager if I can access the first router and set the port forwarding

My solution, Thankfully the management of the office building do not have the sense to change the main routers default user and password.
I was able to access the main router and forward the needed port. I did change RDC in the particular PC to use a different port from 3389.
It is all working now.
