problem with ati 5870

I can only get my screen onto a 4.3,with 2 black bars either side of the screen.this only happens when i put on a picture for a screensaver.I recently upgraded the drivers for my 5870.My monitor is a Samsung px 2370 .Any help appreciated.thanks.I have already tried the catalyst control centre to no avail.

there is a scaling option and the aspec ratio should be 16.10 if you are running a 1080 monitor

When I go into the catalyst control centre,it doesn't give me any info on that.

I would uninstall all drivers do a sweep then reinstall cause there is something wrong the new ccc should offer you alot of options

It does offer me options but they don't work.

I have the same card (XFX) I too had problems at install. I put my old card back in, uninstalled the drivers (sweep) then put the new 5780 in loaded new drivers, was fine then.
