whenever i try to play the game i get the following message:

It may very well be a problem with the game and a patch may cure it but, if you really need help, you should start by helping us with your system specs... we can only speculate so far!

problem solved, it had a compatibility issue with windows 7 SP1, so i ran it for XP SP3 and it worked
