Hello friend, I'm really appreciate if anyone could solve my problem..

I have downloaded video files.001 & files.002 from mediafire. As you know this file type should be combined before you can open it. Yeah, I've succesful joined the files using FFSJ & HJsplitter as recommended. But I still unable to play the video even my windows explorer keep restarting when I open the drive that contain this file. To stop this situation I had use the unlocker software to delete the files that have been joined.

I have tried several times but the results remain the same...any suggestions?

What file extension is associated with the complete file?
With what player are you trying to play the video file?
Try opening the file with VLC. It plays pretty much anything I have thrown at it; including partial .temp files.;)

Thanks for reply..

The file extension is .mkv but I don't think VLC player could solve this problem. I use WMP and Divx player to open the files. The big problem is...I cannot open windows explorer when I combine this file. I also have downloaded the other files but still the same..

probably not, it sounds like the files you downloaded have corrupted and are causing the explorer to crash i have seen this in the past and once the files are removed eveything should be fine,
perhaps you need to find a different dl source.
presuming its legit!

I remember having the same problem, especially with incomplete and/or corrupted MKV files. Win Explorer would try to generate a thumbnail and crash when it fails. That's the first time I decided never to download anything else directly to the desktop xD
Can you imagine Explorer crashing every five seconds? Anyway, I was so pissed at the time I restarted the PC and went into Safe Mode, and from there I could safely delete the files.

And by the way, when was anything from Mediafire/Rapidshare/other-crap-like-that legit? If you want to share stuff, there's always YouTube, SkyDrive, and many other services that take more advantage of personal files and their preference of public availability and sharing.
