Hey guys im having several problems with windows 7 instaling on my custom build PC

I install windows 7... reaches at the.. completing installation... then it cuts off it reboots then says there was an error in the installation and tries to go back then my PC restarts again. tried to start it with safe mode then it says the installation cannot be completed in safe mode meaning it hasn't finished yet.

I did wipe my harddrive fully clean... and its IDE

Hi Dwayne! Welcome to the forums...

Sometimes the install will fail with more than 1 stick of RAM.. Try reinstalling with just one inserted... let us know how it goes..

This allows you to disable your components...

If the RAM is the issue than you will have to physcially remove a stick to troubleshoot

That tutorial is good to disable a component like a Grahpics Card that might be causing an issue

good news with uninstaling my graphics card its showing sum... spark :) its actualy telling me there was a problem with the start up.. and reinstal windows when i had the graphics card it just gave me a cut off :)

It failed again :(

i treid to plug in the Asus HDD 20pin connector to the dvd drive n memory now its totaly messed it up... :/ and cba changing it back to IDE cables should i suggest using SATA?
