Problem with SB X-fi Platinum Fatal1ty Champion. CMSS3D

I recently upgraded from Windows XP 32, to Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Everything was hunky doory with XP, but I've been having a real problem with my sound.

It's really weird, so check this out.

The CMSS3D has only worked once since I've installed Win7, and it just stopped, and I can't figure out how to get it back, and there's some other things too.

I'll be listening to music or watching a movie and it'll just be playing out of the front channels (minus the center) and then all of a sudden it'll just start playing out of JUST the center channel and the two rear channels. And to fix that, I just go into the SB audio stupid thing and just move it to 4.1, then back to 5.1.

I just wanna know if anyone has had the same problem? It's getting really frustrating to figure out why it keeps doing this. Since I had the CMSS3D working that one day, I feel spoiled because I really want it back. I tried checking the box on and off, and it does nothing. The slider is at 50%. I've tried all the settings that are available, and then nothing.

Please help me before I rip out this soundcard, set it on fire and bury it.

Saw this post and thought I might provide you a link to look through. http://www.sevenforums.com/sound-audio/22620-audio-5-1-windows-7-a.html. I have a SB X-fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro but I don't use 5.1, however I think there's an issue with 5.1 and W7. It might be fixed, but since I don't have a multi-speaker setup, I don't use it.
