Oh CCleaner would just be to clean the temp files. It does not fix the original cause. Hence the recommendations to scan outside windows. There were already malicious items removed, and likely some still lurking. A Guy
My $0.02 worth. Is there a possibility that your browsers have a home page set to a site that wants to install some virus/trojan on your system.?
As ususal, I highly recommend the pay version of Malwarebytes as it activly checks websites that you visit.

I have dos 6.22, wfwg 3.11, win98, 2000 and xp VHD's available for testing. MS's Virtual PC works great.
Well for what it is worth if aka you are going to do a clean install if you have access to another machine how about doing a DISKPART and get the drive ready that way? You will need some way of hooking up the drive but there are USB gadgets to do that or even hooking directly into the machine.

And lastly thanks to each one of u for helping me out....
Thank You very much......!
Well aka you will get a torrent of advice re this mate and it depends on whetther you want on for free or paid for.
Personally I get paid for because when all is said and done you get what you pay for!!
I use Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) 2013 and Malwarebytes (MBAM) - free add on and SuperAntiSpyware (SAS) - free add on myself.
If you want my advice I would include the CClenarer app (free) for tidying up your machine and keeping it clutter free. Kaspersky Lab US | Antivirus Computer Security < be very careful where you get it from it is regional ie buy it here in Australia and it will not activate in the UK. If you want this one I cn guide you with a great configuration set up.

No probs and do let us know how you get on. There are more apps (free) that will be of great use to you - you only have to ask but I guess you have enough to do right now
