Problems with Cinema 4D and other 3d stuff

First of all, if this is in the wrong place, I apologize.

That out of the way, I've been having some problems with windows 7 and 3d apps in general, cinema 4D in particular. The release 11 version installs fully, then when started, simply stops loading. The 11.5 release doesn't seem to install at all.

I have the latest version of drivers for my card (which is an intel integrated x3100), and they do nothing.


This is not only related to Cinema. I've tried several other applications, with limited degrees of success. Max 2009 and 2010 can't even start up, and Houdini has a lot of flickering issues and crashes often while moving the viewport. It might be because some of these are trial versions, but it's still frustrating.

AutoCAD is also quite buggy, the 2009 version crashes when trying to draw a line.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My semester started and I can't work on my machine.

Hmm well theres a few things i would try,

1. Have you tried running the applications as admin?
2. Have you tried running the applications in Compatibility mode?

Tried both of those. Run as admin does nothing. Compatibility mode gives a popup box attached.

Well, sort of...
I found a version of the drivers that allow me to work in fullscreen, and run Cinema at the same time. It's the february version of the drivers for windows 2000/XP, driver version 6.14.10.4926. The vista and windows 7 drivers seem to be buggy as hell...

Aero no longer works, and my dark taskbar scheme has been replaced with an almost white one, but if that's the only price to pay, I guess I'll get used to it, eventually.

Bog, možeš li mi na hrvtaski objsniti kako si rješio problem s CInema 4d. Ja je pokušavam instalirati na windows 7 ali nikako ne uspjevam.
