I got this computer from my friend(its a custom built computer, 3 years old). He formated windows and I installed all the drivers and set it up propperly. But I have a huge problem with freezing/crashing. The computer randomly freezes(deadlocks) and prevents me from taking any action. I cant do anything since nothing is responding and have to reset the computer every time. Plus, it makes a glitched unpleasant noise almost every thime. I dont get BSOD, it just freezes. My friend had the same problem when he owned the computer but I guess never bothered fixing it. All the fans seem to be working propperly just the GPU tends to overheat to around 55 C when gaming. But it isnt the graphics card fault , because it freezes even when im simply browsing the web. I cant seem to fix this problem on my own, so please help!

Hey, "freezing" is mainly caused by damaged HDD,but in your case, we can't surely say that until you don't test your HDD on another computer.
Before that, you can use HD Tune to test the HDD for errors

So I used HD Tune to test the HDD for errors, as you said, but it didnt find any(0 damaged blocks it says). What would be the next step?

Test your memory with Memtest86+. Let it run overnight, and let it run for eight passes.

That should rule out a RAM problem, which this likely could be.

Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Please post back with your results.
