Ok, so I just bought this headset a few days ago. There's nothing wrong /w it, but I am having a few issues and couldnt find an official TB support forum after Googling.

My first issue is that sometimes the audio plays through both the headset and the speakers of my laptop. This is annoying when i am in coffee shops, university libraries, etc. Mostly it happens when watching YouTube, movies, music listening, etc, but sometimes while playing games too. Im not sure what triggers it or if i just have a messed up sound configuration that needs tweaking.

The 2nd issue is that I havent been able to get the mic to work in games, etc. My laptop does have a built-in mic but I would like to use the one on the headset for obvious reasons.

Any replies are appreciated, especially if you own this headset as well. Thanks!

I will add more information here later
For playback, check the Sound Panel, Playback section, and see if you have "System Mixer" or "Stereo Mix" listed and if you do, make tht the default recording device. That may help with some of the playing problems and maybe the mic problems.

Also, make sure you are inserting the headset plug fully, if its only partially inserted you could get both headset and PC speakers.

Finally make sure you are using the ASUS sound drivers and they are the correct ones for the Windows Server OS. (And remember this forum is for Windows 7 OS, I don't know if there is a forum for Windows Server).
