Problems with windows 7 home premium and Wacraft III:The Frozen Throne

hi...

i got a new laptop acer aspiere 5740-6631, everything seems to be Ok, except for wc3 ... when i play it the game freezes several times, its not lag, its not delay, it just freezes... even when im on the menu (not really "playing") . i need help pls ive tried the compatibility packs ...with no result.
