Processor fan runs very very fast and emitting very very hot air

Hi,
I am using Laptop 160GB HDD ,GB RAM, AMD TURION N550 processor,

Recently i partitioned my lap through disk management,at that time i changed from basic disk to dynamic disk
From that that time onwards my processor cooling fan runs very fastly from booting time and emitting hot air contiunally.


Even i put a new OS Windows 7 Professional 32Bit, that heat will same.
processor fan runs very very fast and emitting very very hot air.

Some one says that need to change temperature through cmos setttings, but i dont know where the cmos settings for temperature.

Start the Windows Task Manager (right click the Taskbar) and go to the Performance Tab. What percentage is the processor running at?

This will tell us your temperatures.

CPU -54 Celcius
HDD- 37Celcius

Hmm for my two cents worth that is about average temps for a laptop - when you are scanning . playing light games etc.

Shut the machine down and flip it over take a very bright light and look into the air intake where the small fan is see if there is a lot of dust in there. Then keeping the light source where it is on the end where the air is blown out look into that opening and see if the small slots in the "radiator" are very dusty or not or if you cannot see any light at all.
A model number would be handy and the name of the CPU form Speccy.

The fan is clear and clean no dust and all.
But the processor area is over heating. so fan is just send out the heat.I want to reduce the processor heat.

Please give the solution to reduce the sudden and over heat in processor.

How old is the machine mate anything over about four years you have got to start thinking the thermal compound may be getting hard and useless. Model number mate please.

Its a new one manufature date is 25-06-2012

I am using nine months , in that time it never gives any problem,

but last week i was changed my partition , unfortunately one partition was changed from basic to dynamic, after that its required to restart. after restart it was not boot. SO i put a new OS Professional 32 Bit. After puttting new os, The laptop is emitting hot air.

Now i converted all drives in basic disk only. But heat not reduced

I'm no expert on Hasee laptops but to me this looks like the CPU is failing. I would as a matter of urgency back up all your data files to an external hard drive, just to be safe.

Task Manager shows that there is no unusual processor activity, at least in Windows. All is normal.

Some good suggestions have already been made:

• Poor thermal paste application on the processor
• Poor installation/contact of the heat pipe to the processor.
• Defective processor.

One thing you might try, just to see if it makes a difference, is a BIOS Settings Reset:

• Turn off the laptop, remove the power supply and battery
• Now press and hold the power button for a good 30 seconds
• Replace the battery and power supply, start the laptop
• Immediately go into the BIOS Settings (by pressing the correct key at boot) and go to the EXIT Tab. There, select "Restore Optimized Defaults" (or similar wording).
• The laptop will reboot.

See if that changes anything.

I thought that might be the case but then from the age of the lappy and the fact that the OP says he has had it for 9 months it was 5 months old when he got it so the damage may have been done before!

Yes mate would not be hard to have a check around the body work at least and look for any ill fitting monitor or maybe it looks set slightly crooked. as for the spill lifting the keyboard may shows signs of a spill.
