Solved Program works in one place but not another??

I have a program called shapeshifter which lets me copy more than one thing at at time- REALLY handy sometimes! however it works fine at school when i am on the school server, but when i open up my computer on my home network to do homework the program stops responding instantly, here is one of the crash reports if you need it:

what's wierd is that i installed it on my home network and it worked perfectly at home and school at first...

if someone could help me that would be great, this is becoming extremely annoying.

maybe your OS can't handle it.
is it x86 or x64 program?

the website said the installer installed x64 or x32 depending on the processor so i am assuming it is 64 bit since i am running a 64 bit OS

i have never had an error like on that page. also, all the sites i read about the program i am using said it was clean. i even just ran a scan with microsoft endpoint protection on the directory and it came up clean.
also the file described on the site starts with a lowercase "s" but this file starts with an uppercase "S"

Have you tried uninstalling it & then making sure you have the 64 bit version & then reinstalling it.

I deleted the installer a few weeks back while trying to clear up my downloads folder, I also emptied the recycle bin so it is not there, I will re-download and re-install later when I get a chance

I have just re-installed the app, the installer gave no indications as to whether it was x64 or x32 and it is still crashing as it was before

i looked at the file info and this isn't even the right shapeshifter, i have ShapeShifter clipboard manager, the file on this page is something completely different

OK. This is a completely different program from what you first described.

Where did you download the program from?. If you did not download it from this website I suggest you uninstall your existing one & download & install from this website as this is actually the designer of it. They also have a contact section so you could contact them explaining your problem if this reinstall does not work properly.

As I mentioned in Post #13 you could contact them for assistance with your problem.

Have you tried to get assistance from your school, that you mentioned in one of your early posts. As you have a laptop there should be someone at school that could help you, as you can easily take the computer to school.

Your original post #1 mentions Shapeshifter.exe. Shapeshifter.exe is a trojan program & should be removed from your computer.

What Anti Virus program do you run on your computer?. It would probably be advisable to read through this website & download the removal tool they have listed as Shapeshifter.exe is not a clipboard program, it's a trojan horse virus infection & this maybe what causing your problems.

Hacb. Why do you have your time zone as the USA when you say you are in Australia. It's just a question not a criticism.

can't work out how to change it, i looked through all control panels but couldn't find the timezone option
