programs installed in windows xp virtual mode uninstallation

do I have to uninstall the programs in the virtual mach mode first, or do they go away once i delete the virtual windows xp mode and the updates (I saw in your forum how to do this)

Hello Bill, and welcome to Seven Forums.

No need to uninstall the programs first. If you uninstall Windows XP Mode in Programs and Features, it will removed all of XP Mode including anything you installed in it.

removing virtual machine and programs

Thanks Shawn. I will do that today and post my results. I am so glad I didn't have to go through uninstalling all the 32 bit programs I had. I now have all my programs in the 64 bit format so I really don't need the virtual XP mode any longer.
