Proper Reinstalling windows 7 home basic

Hello friends,
this is my 1st thread . i am facing this problem since last 20 days. my windows was so slow so i tried to reinstall windows [ i have licensed disc ]. but after installation i found there was recovery drive partition of 15 gb . i got only 270gb usable space of 350 gb hdd after installation.
please help me to install windows with completely deleting previous data including any recovery or backup folders or drives . i want maximum space . i dont want anything from previous. i want windows fresh. please help

Try this:

When you boot from the Windows 7 DVD to start installation, select the Custom installation.
On the next screen, select Drive options (advanced)
Delete any partitions found and click on the single unpartitioned space.
