PS/2 Mouse is not working

Hello everyone, i have an problem with my PS/2 mouse. Its not working. Restarted and stuff, loaded default BIOS settings. Still no luck. Any help please?

Try unplugging it, plugging back in then booting the machine. I know it sounds silly but I've had similar issues with PS/2 mice & keyboards

Do you have any other PS/2 mice laying around that you try in order to eliminate the mouse as the problem?

Another option is to try that mouse on another PC. Sounds like the mouse has failed, how old is it?

It might sound obvious, but if it is a mouse with a ball in it you might need to clean the rollers and ball. Another thing, have you plugged it into the correct port (green)? Of course, the mouse may well have died and you need a replacement.
