PSU replacement, need your opinion and help

Heres the psu im about to insert in it, any risk to fry or overvolt, is it too strong ??

what was in it before was a 400W , model made in china, didnt find anything on the web model # PX-480RPF

I don't think that would be a problem. What is the reason you are upgrading the PSU - different GPU ??

Hum as whs says mate why the need for an upgrade? It will not matter how big you go really as the PSU will only need to produce the amount of power that the machine needs to draw.

But on a slightly different note I would go with a different brand of PSU as I don't know what that brand is like, and I have seen they can be pretty noisy. My choice would be a Corsair a bit more money but rock solid. Either the HX 650 or TX 650M would be my choice.

Looks like a poor "750W" PSU. A good 600W unit would have more capacity on the +12V rail.

While they are more expensive, I always recommend Corsair, Seasonic or Antec. They are top line PSU's. Usually, you get what you pay for.
