Hi,
I recently had to rebuild my main PC. Consequences seem to have arisen.

I watch all TV, videos music everything through my TV. It is fed by my laptop using Win 7 64 Media Centre. (Through HDMI)
My main PC, with VERY ample storage is in my home office.
So my setup is: Main PC used to download, record, and store all media. (TV Cards etc)
My Laptop then gets the media (I presume by streaming) over my local network.
I have each drive shared, and even folders shared.
'Videos' (mostly downloaded films) seem to work just fine. They are 'found' and play.
Seperately I keep 'Tv Series', this is mostly downloaded complete series or convereted copies of my DVD collection.
This folder shows up... I can see each folder for each series.. but content only in 3 of them. I hvae tried unselecting and re selecting. Made sure they are shared. etc.
Previously all of these WERE visible and played.
I just don't know what to try next? Why some and not others? There doesnt seem to be a connection re the format of file.
Help?
Thanks

Everyone stumped?
Ok. the answer is....
Move the files to a new directory. It seems that it comes down to Win 7 ownership issues. By moving the file you become the owner (again).
