Hi adityakamble49,

Welcome to SF.

The information you have given is totally inadequate for any meaningful diagnosis to even think of a solution..

- like whether it is a new computer you are building, whether the HDD is a new one or a used one, whether you are installing Windows 7 for the first time with a legal Windows Media or is it a re or repeat install, if it is a reinstall any problem that forced you to do that etc.,etc.,

Just the configuration and HDD capacity does not lead us anywhere.

Your awesome for reading this.
And so it was an infected drive. Then it would be necessary to wipe the drive clean before attempting to reinstall Windows.

While clean all suggested by andrew129260 should do, I shall attack it with a double-edged sword. You still didn't say who the manufacturer of the HDD is.

If it is a Seagate, download SeaTools for DOS, if it is a WEsternDigital download Lifeguard Data Diagnostic for DOS, prepare a bootable pen drive with it, boot from it and check the health of your drive.( In both cases you will use Rufus to create the bootable pendrive. Seatools for DOS is an ISO. Creating a bootable pendrive by selecting that ISO and creating a bootable pendrive is straightforward. LifeGuard diagnostic is a zip file. You will first prepare a bootable DOS pendrive with DOS using Rufus and then extract the Zip file into that bootable pendrive to run dlgdiag5.exe. (You see how it would have helped, had you given the HDD's manufacturer.)

Once you have run the short and Long tests and it confirms your disk is in good health, write zeros with the same diagnostic tool.

Reinstall Windows.
