Q8200 or Q6600?

Hi.... i just found a couple of guys selling these two Quad Core Processors. The guy who is selling Q8200 is from out of City and the one who is selling Q6600 G0 Stepping is from same City. We have a local Gaming Community Forum and both of these guys have Positive Trade Scores so it's nothing to worry about but now im confused about these 2 models of processors. I googled and read that Q6600 are better in Performance but they generate more heat, consume more power and has better cache where the Q8200 generate less heat and consume less power but has low cache and multiplier etc. Also im not a OverClocker and im gonna run it on Stock just like im running my E5200 on stock.. never OC'd it and i need to buy make a deal from one of them today so can you guys suggest me which option i should go for?

I'd opt for the Q6600, just 'cause I'm an OC enthusiast - it would reach higher speeds easily.
I'd simply OC the Q6600 to 3.0GHz with a 1333 FSB, but as you don't plan on doing any overclocking,
just go for the Q8200 as it will run cooler than the Q6600; especially if you plan to use stock cooling.

My Q8200 runs at 2.33Ghz but can be overclocked to 3.36Ghz

hmmmm but i just talked to the guy who has Q6600 and it's costing me little cheaper and maybe im not sure yet but i might try OC some time soon so should i get Q6600 G0 Stepping? Coz for Q8200 i'll have to wait 2 more days and transfer money into a account and shipping etc. and as OC enthusiasts recommending to get Q6600 for gaming so should i go for it today?

Absolutely, if you're getting the Q6600 - get G0 as it's the revised stepping that is more efficient.
G0 has a higher thermal specification: 72C as opposed to 60C, a lower TDP: 95W as compared to 105W for the B3 & they run at a lower voltage overall. This leads to lower temps and better overclocking capabilities.

OK i just bought the Q6600 installed the processor + thermal compound and now running it I'll update more after checking it... the temperatures are bit higher than my E5200 on idle.

Don't worry about it, they have higher thermal specs.

okie i also checked Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and with E5200 i had very bad Frame Rates even on medim settings and now i tried the game with Maxed Out settings and it manges pretty well but frame rate go down but in big areas not like it was used to dip down all the time even on medium

Yes i want to buy one of them... Inno3D is little cheaper in price than EVGA.. Which should i go for? Im more comfortable with Nvidia cards hehehe im not fan boy but idk why...

If they are both reference cards, go for the cheaper one.

Evga's warranty and step-up program advantage doesn't apply to outside the US (and Canada?)
