A bit of a run down about the setup of this station...

I have a Windows 7 Professional 64bit system with Microsoft Office 2003 that is on a domain network. I have a user that cannot open .xlxs files despite having the Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office System installed on the PC. If I login, I can open all .xlxs files. The major difference that I notice is inside of Default Programs. Mine are set to open .xlxs files with the Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office System and the other user's is set to open with Microsoft Excel 2003. I have a pretty good feeling that if I change the Default Programs for his to open with Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office System, everything will work as it should.

So when I go to change his Default Programs, it opens the Windows Explorer screen and asks me what program I want to open .xlxs files with and I can't find Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office System anywhere. Where does this install to so that I can reference it?

Thanks.

As I understand C-Pack is not a stand alone program but works like a plug-in. I installed it to my Office 2003 suite and xlxs/docx files open just fine.

\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\MOC

This is what I was looking for.

Everything works now.

Great! So it was the associated Office executable you wanted - your post "...I can't find Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office System anywhere" is what threw me off.
