current board is 6 yrs old (gigabyte ex58). Since the OS and programs are on the HD after I replace the board will there problems booting up to windows? My windows 7 is a full retail purchase version, not an upgrade from a previous windows so will there be any probs reactivating using the key? How can I tell if a new board model will fit my case? I have an intel i7 processor so that will have to be compatible with the new board so how can I tell this? I am not planning to upgrade any cards like video etc, just swap everything onto the new board. I installed the current board so am somewhat familiar with how to do that. Just had the questions. thanks!

The problems will be the drivers and the Windows activation if the OS is an OEM version.
