My copy of Quicken 2009 Premier crashes printing checks on Win 7 Ultimate x64 for multiple printers, including my HP LaserJet P2015dn set up as a network printer, and my Epson C120 Ink Jet as well as CutePDF.

It does NOT crash printing reports!

This also occurs when printing checks using XP mode to run Quicken.

I uninstaledl Quicken and install as admin as per the following link:

http://www.sevenforums.com/software/1873-quicken-windows-7-64bit-printing-checks-3.html

Re-installation did NOT work. Same problem.

Tried this, but it also did not work:

1. went to printer settings for checks
2. checked 'continuous'
3. checked 'bypass drivers'
4. ran a series of checks (found that continuous is only good for printing voucher checks, since it prints one check per page). checks printed just fine, which was inspiring. however, no value with non-voucher checks.

Saw this suggestion, but did not try it as it seemed not to be relevant:

How to Share a Network Printer between Computers Running 32-bit & 64-bit Windows

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Do you have the Release 4 version? What type of checks are they? (check, then stub, then your copy or 3 checks per page?). Also has it always had this problem, or is this something new?

I would uncheck the "continuous" and see if you can print your checks.

Have questions, just ask.
Has a Solution been found to this problem? I've tried it all also and printing checks causes quicken to crash, the second you click on print.
