Solved r7 250 crossfire help

When I install both the screen just goes black and the PC just sits there and making sounds. No post sound errors no turning off. Just sits there like its booting up but no display. I am pretty sure that the r7 250 can be crossfire enabled. Just not sure how to set it up. Help?

Ok so trouble shooting tried so far:

booted off of each new graphix card in each pci x16 slot independently - both work fine
clean install of driver : Hopefully its not a driver issue?

Ok so when I bought the r7 250 off of newegg.com I thought I saw that it was crossfire ready, but now I do not and it did not come with a crossfire bridge.... I'm going to look up to see if it can be that its not a crossfire ready card. Being that Im having a difficult time finding any difinitive info on if it you can or cannot use these for cross fire it may be a day or two before I'll get back to you.

The cards can be crossfired mate, you just need a crossfire bridge and you will be ready to go!

It was a software problem I fixed it. With these cards a crossfire bridge was not required.

crossfire always causes problems lol, nothing to put you off or anything though, micro stuttering can sometimes be an issue though

Hey there. I've been looking all over for a solution to this problem. I just acquired a pc that has 2 saphire radeon r7 250's installed. I try to crossfire but whenever I start any game my screen goes black and the computer freezes.

Just out of curiosity you said it was a software thing. What exactly did you do?

It's probably better if you start a new thread for this. The OP's last post is from two years ago and I suspect that he's long gone from the forums, so he probably won't answer. Also this thread has been marked solved, meaning that fewer members will look at it, meaning that you won't get the answer you need.

Hey.

To get further help, you really should start a thread. The people here are super helpful am I am sure someone can help you figure it out. That being said, the key for me was using the radeon software, I had to enable somewhere. I will say I used it for wow and it was a net loss of fps (from previous gcard) which is what I was after to gain. I dont remember the other benefits, but I ended up not keeping it. Cheers.
