Radio stations were perfect, now long buffers

I have been listening to radio stations on my Asus G50VT laptop since I bought it. I maintain updated drivers, and just finished windows upgrades. It has been a while since using it for listening to the radio, so I cannot be certain when this problem began. If I knew that, I would try a roll back or something.

I can watch two hours of netflix movies or long news videos with great sound without a single burp or pause.

But now, my radio stations play about five minutes then go silent for a minute or two. I assume it's buffering. It comes back on fine, but the radion station only plays about 60-80% of the time. Very annoying.

Is there a fix for this? Any suggestions where I should look for the problem?

I'm guessing this is Internet radio? If this is live radio, what setup are you using? (card, software, etc.)
Internet radio can come and go based on your connection and bandwidth. Not to mention other network traffic. Does the site allow you to change the frequency?

Thanks all,
Yes, internet radio on my Asus laptop, connected directly to the radio station sites. I listen to six of them, one at a time, and they have all suddenly started this buffer problem. This problem did not happen for 18 months. Just started recently.

My ~net speed is tested on PcPitStop at 24.92 Mbps down, and 3.30 Mbps up. I have never had a problem with speed.

Have you tried resetting your modem?

No, since my speeds are 24.92 Mbps down and 3.30 Mbps up, I thought the modem could not do any better. MIght try it though. Can't hurt.
