Solved [RAM] Memory Leak

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I've been having a problem with this ram issue lately.. Basically, my computer builds up RAM over time which is impossible to clear unless I restart my computer. Any solutions? Thanks

RAM usage.

It's supposed to do that. Yes you can clear it but RAM usage will soon increase as you start using your machine. You don't need to clear it.

Why do you want to?

Edit: Windows will free up RAM automatically when needed.

But the thing is the most RAM I've used is around 2gb, the 5gb are taken by windows and it makes my computer laggy.

Post a screenshot of Task Manager - Performance tab when the problem occurs. This provides important information not found elsewhere.

Page file size?

What's the size of your page file? Try increasing it and see what happens. Other than that take a look at this article:

Right-click Computer, click Properties, click Advanced system settings and on the Advanced tab note the Performance section. Click Settings then click the Advanced tab. I like to make my Paging File/Virtual Memory maximum and minimum sizes the same.
