Did you built the PC yourself?
I would first check if they are put in the place correctly, and not backward or something (I did it myself :lol) both little flaps should be folded down.
If they are, remove one module and try to boot that way, then try with the other 1 in another slot.
Keep us informed!

the beep code is for "Power error". Recheck all of your power supply connectors, make sure they are in the correcr place and tightly attached.

I think that is only for IBM bioses, but not in gigabyte boards. Gigabyte boards usually have Award bios, so it must be a ram problem IMO:

Welcome to Seven Forums.
Not that this is the reason but it is always a good idea to look on the manufacturers QVL "Qualified Vendors List" When selecting Ram for your board. As you will see yours is not listed. Which only means it hasnn't been tested to run on your board. Which is not to say it won't.http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-p55-usb3.pdf.
Secondly make sure you have read the manual as to the placement of the moduels http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-p55-usb3_v2.0_e.pdf
pages1-4 1-4-1

Once you are certian you have followed the proper placement for dual channel, if your still experiencing the same problem then I would suggest you run memtest86 Memtest86 - Download Page using one module at a time for atleat 5-6 runs to check each stick for ny errors. This will let you know if you may have a bad stick of Ram and thus causing the errors.
Fabe

Thanks Guys the ram works fine in slot 1 & 2 (in normal mode so to speak). but i did try using just one stick to test each slot and in slot 3 & 4 i get the fast continueous beeps , is this normal or should one piece of ram work in any slot you place it? Thanks again :)

Manufacturers recommend you to fill in slots 1 and 3 first, because slot 1-2 and 3-4 are wired together so by using 1. and 3. you double the access speed of the ram. 1 stick should work in any slot! I think your motherboard if faulty. You must have some kind of factory warranty for a few years.
