Random active window focusing issue

No it was just a question because most I.T.Departments really don't like employees changing how things work and this site normally recommend not over riding a I.T.Department.

Ah my apologies then, I was accused of similar on another forum I was seeking help on of this.

Our IT staff essentially gave me a shrug of the shoulders when I suspected I could always look into it instead of them. So hence poking about asking the more technically minded chaps and chapettes of the internet.

Good point :) But if I.T like the I.T dept I'm in no one can change anything not even the wallpaper. Maybe that is why I didn't notice that he was in a business

To give you a sense of perspective this an I.T department that sent an email out to tell us our email service was down. No really they actually did this :/

Well sadly this issue is back again with an increase in how often it occurs now, to the point its interrupting me far too often.

It does seemed to have stopped this occurring for now, however I have had gaps between it reoccurring again before.

I'd try this trick:

What all other programs are running on this computer, the Processes tab in Windows Task Manager is what I am interested in.

I'd bring that up and look at the CPU column and see what spikes, click on the column heading to sort it. (down arrow will replace CPU when you have clicked there properly)

Shrink it and move it to the side while you bring up the program that looses focus then stare at the processes list for something unexpected spiking and quite possibly stealing focus.

OP, please do not cry if it is a keylogger.

And ask your company to please donate to this site if we are doing their tech support, thank you. <evil cackle>
