Random Annoying Problem

Everytime I open my computer so that it awakens from hibernation or sleep or being off, I am able to see the wireless networks but not to connect to them. I then disable and enable the wireless driver which then allows me to connect to the networks. I am always able to get on the wired network. I have a Toshiba Satellite computer and my wireless driver is Realtek RT8191 SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC.

Its not that big of a deal that I have to disable and enable the wireless driver but it is a bit annoying and so if there is someone has ever heard of this before or knows a way in which I can make it automatically disable and enable the driver that would be great.

It would also just be great if anyone could just explain or give some kind of reason why this would happen because to me it seems pretty random.

Thanks!
Emily

You might try going to Device manger and turning off the sleep function of the driver.

Uncheck the one that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" it tends to cause problems such as you are describing. The power options has a similar setting for the network.
