Hello everyone,

Recently I have had a string of hardware failures that resulted in an almost complete system rebuild. A few months back my i7 1366 socket motherboard died and I was also having repeated vga driver crashes with an EVGA 560 Ti.

The machine was rebuilt with a new Asus P8 Z77-V LE Plus board, i7 3770k cpu, new 550W PSU. The only carry overs from the previous system is my SSD drive and my Ram (forget the make). SSD was wiped and new install of Windows 7 was installed about two months ago.

The other day the 560Ti finally failed completely, so I am currently using on-board video and am still experiencing BSOD after removal of all Nvidia drivers so I fear something else is going south..

Attached is my BSOD dump. If this is a duplicate, I apologize but I have no idea how to tell if it is. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Ok I'm at a breaking point here. I've been doing more reading and a few tech forums list AVG as a common cause of BSOD so I ran the AVG remover and tried to install MSE.

As MSE was updating... BAM another BSOD.

I downloaded Blue Screen View and it llists "caused by driver ntoskrnl.exe" but for the life of me I can't seem to narrow it down further...

Here is the latest dump...

Ok I have done what you recommended, and have not yet encountered an issue, but I will monitor over the next few days.

Can you tell me how you came to that conclusion? That way if I have another issue like this I won't need to ask.

Again thanks for all your help!

Somebody needs to promote you to highest level ninja. Not only no issues with the PC, I put the GTX 560 back in and no driver crashes.

Thanks again for your help

I thought all was well, since the system seems to be running fine however today I needed to use VMWare to log onto work from my home and VMWare causes an instant BSOD.

I have to boot to safe mode with networking to use the application.

The only thing I can think of was I recently installed Microsoft Security Essentials which may be causing it? MSE was recommended to replace AVG to avoid BSOD's.

Here is the dump file if this helps at all.
