Hello, thanks for responding. My controller is a Marvell 91xx SATA 6G. And I built the machine around 5 years ago.

Change the controller to a different port, there are reports about controller issues which may lead to the Marvell controller causing issues.

When was the last time you cleaned the system of dust and replaced the thermal paste?

This is your motherboard
View attachment 398397

The red marked part is your sata controller connections,
- blue is Intel,
- grey is Marvell

The connections of Intel are 3.0Gb/s
The connections of Marvell are 6.0Gb/s

What you do to change the port is move the cable that connects your drive to the motherboard to a different connection.

Hello! I had my controller in sata port #1 and changed it to sata port #2. Time will tell. Shall I close out this ticket or keep it open? Thanks for all your help.

This confuses me a bit. I have an Asus motherboard. I see no network drivers on Asus's website unless it is called something else I don't recognize. When I go into Device Manager I look at Network adapters and it show me Intel(R) 82574L Gigabit Network Connection and Intel(R) 82574L Gigabit Network Connection#2. When I try to update the drivers, the system says they are up to date. One more thanks, LOL!

I went ahead and updated the Intel(R) 82574L Connection drivers. There was a newer version and the system was wrong telling me they were up to date.

Device manager often tells drivers are up to date, but mostly that just isn't true.
