Yeah, but Windows says the driver is the latest. Actually today I was trying to check this driver because the previous post said it might be the cause. I replaced the driver to be one I downloaded from broadcom.com which I noticed was a older driver. But after that, I can't no longer upadte the driver to be the latest one.

Is it under warranty? What I think you should do now is a Clean install and see if the problem remains. If it does it is very likely a hardware problem not a driver conflict and you should return the laptop to the shop you got it from and see what they have to say. I'll try that. Can I use the native Acer recovery program to reinstall Windows 7? Or it's better to follow the method from the website you informed?

Recovery programs have lot of factory bloatware in them. So I would recommend you do a clean install mentioned in the tutorial.
